Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will reunite onscreen in Brahmāstra: Part Two, set to commence filming by the end of 2026.

Renowned actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are set to reunite on screen after a gap of eleven years in the upcoming film, Brahmāstra: Part Two. This collaboration marks their return following their earlier project, Tamasha, released in 2015. The film is part of the prestigious Brahmāstra franchise, which aims to expand India's original cinematic universe known as the Astraverse.

Producer Namit Malhotra, who has been involved in promoting the project while currently in the United States, shared the update about filming commencing towards the end of 2026. He indicated that this sequel will provide both actors with extended screen time compared to their roles in the first instalment, offering a deeper narrative for their characters, Dev and Amrita.

Malhotra, who played a prominent role in the visual effects for Brahmāstra, confirmed that Ayan Mukerji is returning to direct the next chapter of this fantasy-adventure saga. Fans are expressing excitement over the news of the duo's reunion, as both actors have previously captivated audiences in blockbuster hits such as Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), and Tamasha (2015).

The history between Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone dates back to a two-year romantic relationship that began in 2008 and ended in 2009 amid reports of infidelity. Despite their personal breakup, both actors have managed to maintain a cordial professional relationship, collaborating on the aforementioned films after their split. The announcement of their joint appearance in Brahmāstra: Part Two has sparked anticipation among their devoted fanbase, eager to witness their dynamic once again on the big screen.
