Rajpal Yadav's Controversial Exit from Mushtaq Khan's Prayer Meet
Rajpal Yadav faced criticism and was asked to leave Mushtaq Khan's prayer meet amid concerns about selfie-taking during the solemn event.

The film fraternity gathered for the prayer meet of actor Mushtaq Khan, who passed away on September 24 after battling cancer. Among the attendees was Rajpal Yadav, whose departure from the event sparked significant discussion online. A video surfaced on social media showing a woman shouting at Rajpal Yadav as he addressed the media, leading to allegations that he was 'disrespected' and ejected.

In the video, the woman can be heard saying, 'aapko ab bahar bheja jaayega. Humne samjhaya aapko, aap kyun aise kar rahe ho? Yeh koi jagah hai selfie leni ki?' which translates to, 'You will be sent outside now. We explained it to you, so why are you behaving like this? Is this a place to take selfies?' The context of this interaction has since been clarified.

Another video from the same event revealed that a man was attempting to take selfies with Yadav during the prayer meet. The woman who confronted Yadav was actually reprimanding this man and asked him to exit the venue. As he put his phone away and left, Rajpal Yadav also exited.

Following the incident, Rajpal Yadav spoke to the media, paying tribute to the late Mushtaq Khan. He remarked, 'Mushtaq bhai ki aatma ko shaanti mile. Bahut hi pavitra aatma thi, ache insaan the aur bahut hi kabil abhineta,' translating to, 'May Mushtaq bhai’s soul rest in peace. He was a very pure soul, a good human being, and an extremely talented actor.' His heartfelt words reflect the loss felt by the film community.

Attendees at the prayer meeting included several well-known figures, such as Poonam Dhillon, Mukesh Rishi, Rahul Roy, Vindu Dara Singh, and many others. Mushtaq Khan was noted for his contributions to Indian cinema and was remembered fondly by colleagues and fans alike.

Khan had been in critical condition due to lung cancer, having previously battled and recovered from the illness before suffering a relapse shortly prior to his passing. His business partner confirmed that he died around 7 p.m. on Thursday after being admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.

The tribute event underscored the camaraderie and collective mourning in the film industry, while also highlighting the fine line between public interest and personal respect during somber occasions.
