Pricing Details Emerge for Google Pixel 11 Series Ahead of Launch

Google is reportedly preparing to announce its latest smartphone series, the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, on August 11, 2026. In a notable change, all models will begin with a storage capacity of 256GB, marking a shift from the previous Pixel 10 series, which started at 128GB.

The pricing for the new lineup indicates an increase for certain models. Specifically, while the starting prices for the 256GB variants of the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro will remain consistent with their predecessors, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are expected to see an increase of €100.

The upcoming devices will be available in various colours. The standard Pixel 11 will come in four options: Light Sterling (grey), Midnight Haze (black), Fuchsia (pink), and Moss (green). The Pixel 11 Pro series will be released in Light Fog (white), Midnight Haze (black), Dune (beige-pink), and Pine (green). The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be available only in Midnight Haze and Pine, with the 1TB storage option exclusively offered in Midnight Haze.

The announcement comes at a time of anticipation and speculation regarding the new phone's capabilities and features, yet Google has yet to officially disclose detailed specifications. Concerns have also been raised regarding pricing increases amid a competitive market, especially considering the ongoing surge in component costs, partly attributed to the rising demand for artificial intelligence applications.

As per industry analysts, the lack of significant communication from Google about the hardware prior to the launch may signal issues related to production or pricing strategies. Experts note, “The absence of information from Google, particularly so close to the launch, does not inspire confidence.”

This launch follows a trend among smartphone manufacturers as they increasingly integrate advanced technology while also navigating the complexity of material costs.
