In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Maruthi referred to the experience as a 'victorious journey' and expressed his gratitude for being part of Prabhas's cinematic evolution.
Maruthi highlighted the significance of the date, noting that it coincides with the 23rd anniversary of Prabhas's entry into the film industry. He wrote, 'Twenty-three years ago, he took his first step into cinema. Today, he wraps his journey in #TheRajaSaab on the same day... I feel blessed to be part of his victorious journey. I am confident that The Raja Saab will deliver a completely different energy... We appreciate the love and anticipation from fans and promise to provide nothing but the best.' This statement reflects the excitement surrounding the project and Prabhas's enduring popularity.
The film, which blends elements of horror and comedy, explores the mysteries of a haunted mansion inhabited by ghosts and other supernatural entities. Prabhas portrays a carefree protagonist who falls in love with a character played by Nidhhi Agerwal. His character's adventures within the mansion reveal more than just eerie occurrences, with the narrative also featuring a rugged figure played by Sanjay Dutt, who possesses supernatural abilities.
The recently released trailer showcases a mix of humour and magical themes, alongside visually striking effects that hint at gothic occurrences within the mansion. The film promises to take audiences on a journey filled with intrigue and suspense, raising questions about the haunted location and the enigmatic king associated with it.
Alongside Prabhas, the cast includes notable actors such as Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, and Zarina Wahab, among others, ensuring a diverse ensemble for the film. The project is currently in the post-production phase and is set for a grand release during the Sankranthi festival in January 2026.
In addition to 'The Raja Saab', Prabhas has a packed slate with several upcoming films, including 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Fauji', helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, and the sequel 'Kalki 2898 AD Part 2', directed by Nag Ashwin.
As Prabhas marks 23 years in the industry, he continues to emerge as a leading figure in Indian cinema, having transitioned from a promising newcomer to a pan-India superstar. His career trajectory was significantly accelerated by the monumental success of 'Baahubali', which not only set records but also established him as an actor with a broad appeal across diverse audiences.
This upcoming film adds to his legacy, with fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in his career. The future looks bright for Prabhas as he continues to bridge cinematic cultures and engage audiences worldwide.
