Lok Sabha Adjourned Over NEET Exam Leak Protests

The Lok Sabha proceedings in New Delhi were suspended until noon on Thursday due to uproar from Opposition members who protested the alleged leak of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper. After the Question Hour, the House is ready to discuss every issue. I appeal to all members to participate in the discussion after the Question Hour,” Birla stated.

Despite the Speaker's appeal, members of the Opposition chose to enter the Well of the House, where they raised slogans, prompting Birla to adjourn the session within minutes of its start. This incident marked the fourth consecutive day of disrupted sessions during the Monsoon session, with earlier meetings also being abandoned amid similar protests. The Opposition has been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in light of the controversy.
