Krystle D'Souza Discusses Role as Traitor in 'Traitors 2'

Krystle D'Souza has recently shared insights into her role as the original traitor in Season 2 of the reality show 'Traitors'. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, she detailed the strategic pressures she faced and the need to maintain an innocent facade while navigating her treacherous role. The actress revealed that the initial days of her participation were particularly challenging, as she attempted to balance her traitorous actions with the need to appear trustworthy to her co-contestants.

During the 'Circle of Shaq' sessions, D’Souza noted that suspicion often fell on her, prompting her to recalibrate her approach. "After several days of being the primary target for doubt, I thought, ‘Now, whatever happens, will happen.’ I became more assertive in my gameplay," she explained.

A pivotal moment came when the eviction letter situation arose. D’Souza recalled, "I received the letter early on and recognised its potential to strengthen my image as an innocent contestant. I meticulously memorised its contents to present it convincingly during discussions."

Reflecting on her strategic choice, she observed that using the eviction letter was instrumental in shifting her peers' perceptions of her. In the end, her strategy appeared to pay off, as she cleverly navigated her position within the game, convincing fellow contestants of her innocence.

D’Souza concluded her thoughts by summarising her journey in the competition: "I started without understanding how to be a traitor, yet I ended up convincing others of my innocence. Up until now, I see myself as innocent," she said.

Along with fellow contestant Rida Tharana, Krystle D'Souza emerged victorious in Season 2 of 'The Traitors India'. The finale occurred at the historic Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and was hosted by Karan Johar. The duo shared the prize money of Rs 66 lakh after successfully outsmarting their fellow competitors.
