Kareena Kapoor Khan has been announced as the muse for Ritu Kumar's latest couture collection, a collaboration that emphasises heritage and intricate craftsmanship. The unveiling of this partnership took place on September 8, 2026, when Kapoor shared a trailer on her Instagram account. The video showcases the actress in several exquisite outfits designed by Amrish Kumar, highlighting the artistry and tradition embedded in the collection.

Ritu Kumar, a prominent figure in Indian fashion, has a long-standing relationship with Kapoor. The brand's heritage is significant to the actress, who noted, "Ritu Kumar has always held a very special place in my heart." Kapoor reflected on her personal connection to the brand, sharing a story about a beautiful piece once owned by the Begum of Bhopal, which was restored by Kumar for her wedding. The collection, titled 'Jaisalmer Jacket and Skirt,' pays homage to the architectural heritage of Rajasthan.
