Jr NTR Addresses Political Rumours Amid Upcoming Fan Event
Telugu actor Jr NTR clarifies his non-involvement with political group 'Raw NTR', amidst fan speculation regarding his political career.

Telugu actor Jr NTR has recently issued a statement addressing swirling rumours suggesting his entry into politics. Speculation was fuelled by an upcoming fan-organised event known as Ooru Vaada, led by an organisation called Raw NTR.

In a formal communication released by his office, Jr NTR clarified that neither he nor his team are associated with Raw NTR. The statement highlighted that this organisation is not authorised to represent him or communicate on his behalf. It read, "It has come to our attention that an organisation operating under the name RAW NTR is carrying out activities that may create an impression of being associated with Mr NTR."

Furthermore, the document insisted that any charity or public welfare initiatives linked to Jr NTR would only be announced through official channels managed by him or his team.

This clarification came in light of the perception that the Ooru Vaada event might be connected to a political announcement. The Raw NTR group responded to the confusion by emphasising that their event, scheduled for July 18 at the Taj in Tirupati, is dedicated to unveiling the core ideas behind Ooru Vaada and is entirely separate from political discussions.

The statement from Raw NTR said, "We've noticed several posts linking July 18th to NTR garu's political announcement. As per our knowledge, we'd like to clarify that these are only rumours, and there has been no official announcement regarding the same."

Jr NTR, the grandson of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the founder of the Telugu Desam Party, has a family with deep ties to both cinema and politics. While he has previously supported the party during elections, he has not expressed an intention to pursue political office himself.

Currently, Jr NTR is focused on his film career, having recently appeared in productions such as Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 1 and Ayan Mukerji’s War 2. He is also involved in upcoming projects, including one reportedly titled God of War, aiming to portray the deity Lord Murugan.

The actor’s clarification aims to quell the ongoing speculation which has drawn significant attention from fans and the media alike. As part of his concluding remarks, the statement urged both the public and the press to disregard unverified claims pertaining to his political aspirations, specifying that this would be the final communication on the matter.
