International Flights Resume at Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran
Iran resumes international commercial flights from its main airport in Tehran, marking a return to normalcy after weeks of disruption.

Iran has resumed international commercial flight operations at Tehran’s main aviation hub, Imam Khomeini International Airport, after a suspension that lasted nearly two months. The reopening marks a significant step toward restoring normal travel and economic activity in the country.

Imam Khomeini International Airport, located in the capital Tehran, officially restarted international flight services on April 25. Authorities confirmed that the airport is now fully operational for both arrivals and departures, with airlines gradually resuming their scheduled services.

The suspension had disrupted travel plans for thousands of passengers and affected trade routes reliant on air cargo. With the reopening, officials expect a steady increase in passenger traffic as airlines restore connectivity with key global destinations.

Airport authorities stated that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth operations, including coordination with airlines and enhanced logistical support. Passengers have been advised to check flight schedules
