India AI Impact Summit 2026 Showcases Startups and Solutions

New Delhi hosted the India AI Impact Summit 2026, an event showcasing advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) across several sectors. Numerous Indian startups presented solutions aimed at enhancing education, smart security, and train safety, attracting attention from global stakeholders.

Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw attended the summit, indicating India's commitment to becoming a global leader in AI technology. He noted that over 70 countries have signed the declaration associated with the summit, expressing optimism that the number will exceed 80.

"We aim to democratise AI and ensure that its benefits reach every segment of society," Mr. Vaishnaw said. Local and international stakeholders engaged in discussions regarding the ethical implementation of AI technologies, stressing the importance of robust regulatory frameworks to safeguard privacy.
