Huawei Launches GT 6 and GT 6 Pro Smartwatches in India
Huawei has officially unveiled its latest smartwatches, the GT 6 and GT 6 Pro, in India, following their global launch in September 2025. This new series continues the brand's GT lineup, focusing on features tailored for outdoor sports enthusiasts, accurate heart-rate monitoring, and effective endurance tracking.
The GT 6 and GT 6 Pro models come equipped with wrist-based cycling power metrics and support over 100 different sport modes. Both timepieces boast a water resistance rating of 5ATM, making them suitable for various water-related activities. Users can expect impressive battery life, lasting up to 21 days on a single charge. The watches are compatible with both Android and iOS devices, providing flexibility for users across different platforms.
The GT 6 Pro distinguishes itself with a robust titanium alloy body and a sapphire glass display, ensuring durability and scratch resistance. Its 1.47-inch AMOLED screen is capable of reaching a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, enhancing visibility even in bright sunlight. The smartwatch incorporates Huawei’s advanced Sunflower GPS Positioning System, designed for outdoor activities such as trail running, hiking, and cycling. Notably, it tracks cycling power directly from the wrist, offering detailed metrics to assist in training sessions. Additionally, the GT 6 Pro features comprehensive sleep monitoring, providing insights into recovery metrics.
The standard GT 6 model is available in both 46mm and 41mm sizes, featuring a lightweight design while retaining the essential performance features found in the Pro variant. It offers extensive outdoor sports tracking capabilities, including wrist-based cycling power monitoring and in-depth sleep analysis that covers deep sleep, REM cycles, and recovery trends. The AMOLED display of the GT 6 is specifically optimised for outdoor visibility, ensuring clear readability in various lighting conditions.
Consumers can now purchase the HUAWEI GT 6 and GT 6 Pro smartwatches through Flipkart and the official RTC India website. This launch marks Huawei's continued commitment to providing innovative wearable technology tailored for fitness and outdoor activities, appealing to both casual users and serious athletes alike.
