Elon Musk Allegedly Cuts Child Support for Ashley St. Clair
Elon Musk reportedly reduces child support payments for Ashley St. Clair after she publicly reveals their son, intensifying their custody dispute.

Elon Musk has allegedly reduced the child support payments to his former partner, Ashley St. Clair, from $100,000 to $20,000 monthly following her public announcement of their son’s birth. This information comes to light through a new documentary titled ‘Musk’. Ashley St. Clair, 28, claimed she had declined a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that would have kept their relationship secret. According to her, she was initially offered $15 million along with the monthly payments in exchange for signing the NDA, which she felt was unethical because she did not want her child, Romulus St. Clair, to be treated like a secret. After refusing to sign the NDA, she stated the monthly support was reduced to $40,000. Following her public revelation in February 2025, the payments were further slashed to $20,000.

Ashley described Musk as "kind" prior to their son's birth but suggested a shift in his behaviour afterwards. She remarked, “It was almost as if he didn’t show a certain side of himself until after I had our baby.” Their relationship reportedly began in 2023 with interactions on X, previously known as Twitter. During their initial conversations, Musk encouraged her to have more children.

In her accounts, Ashley alleged that Musk might have fathered more children than are publicly acknowledged, claiming she received messages from other women inquiring about children. She cited an example of a woman in Japan who sought a sperm donation which Musk reportedly provided.

The financial changes in support payments coincide with an ongoing custody battle between Musk and Ashley concerning Romulus. Ashley’s legal representatives contend that the reduced payments have left her facing financial difficulties that could lead to eviction. In contrast, Musk has claimed he has contributed $2.5 million in support and expressed an openness to confirming his paternity of Romulus.

This development highlights the complexities surrounding celebrity relationships and the implications of public disclosures in private financial matters. Ashley St. Clair's revelations in the documentary may spark further discussions about the transparency and responsibilities related to child support arrangements in high-profile cases.
