Akshay Kumar Shares Humorous Incident Involving Amitabh Bachchan
Akshay Kumar recounts a funny experience with Amitabh Bachchan when a starstruck house help spilled four glasses of water during a visit.

Indian film star Akshay Kumar shared an amusing anecdote about Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan during a recent episode of the popular game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. The show featured Akshay Kumar and his co-star Saif Ali Khan, who were promoting their upcoming film 'Haiwaan'.

During the episode, Akshay recounted an incident from his time living in Lokhandwala, Mumbai, when Amitabh Bachchan visited his home. Akshay revealed that one of his house staff was an ardent fan of Bachchan. Overwhelmed by the presence of the superstar, the individual became so flustered that he accidentally spilled all four glasses of water he was carrying onto Amitabh Bachchan's kurta.

Akshay described the scene: "Sir, do you remember when you came to my house? I am talking about Lokhandwala, when I used to live there. The person who worked at my house had to give you some water. There were three or four glasses kept there. I remember it very clearly. Sir was wearing a kurta, and that boy was from Allahabad. He looked at you and simply couldn't believe that he was actually giving Amitabh ji a glass of water."

Continuing with his story, Akshay added, "So he came over with the water. There were four glasses, and he ended up spilling all four glasses on your kurta because he was so stunned that he couldn't even see properly. I was thinking, what will happen now? Sir is obviously very tall, so I had to give you my kurta so that it would fit you."

The humorous memory drew laughter from the audience and both stars, showcasing the enduring charm of Amitabh Bachchan and the impact he has on his fans.

'Haiwaan', directed by Priyadarshan, is a crime thriller and a remake of his earlier Malayalam film 'Oppam'. The film includes a notable cast with Akshay Kumar as the antagonist and Saif Ali Khan portraying a blind character, Vibijeet Khurana. The film also features Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Saiyami Kher. Additionally, it marks the final performance of late actor Asrani, who passed away in October 2025.
