Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's New York selfie goes viral, with fans dubbing them 'Bollywood royalty'.

Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were recently seen together in New York, attracting significant attention on social media. Their public appearance was notable given its rarity, and it caught the eye of fans on various platforms.

A fan encountered the couple during an evening stroll and shared a photograph with them on Instagram. In the post, the fan referred to them as 'Bollywood royalty', capturing the admiration many feel for the stars. The moment resonated widely, especially with Abhishek taking a break from filming 'King' to cherish family time.

In the image, Abhishek wore a casual T-shirt and cap, while Aishwarya was dressed in an elegant all-black ensemble. The fan expressed joy in meeting 'our favourite Beautiful Bollywood Royalty couple', adding personal sentiment to the shared moment. The post has circulated extensively, spurring further engagement from fans.

Reflecting on their relationship, Abhishek Bachchan has consistently maintained a level of privacy regarding their personal life. He recently shared insights about how he and Aishwarya first met. They crossed paths on the set of the 2000 film 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke', where their initial connection was purely platonic. It was not until the filming of 'Umrao Jaan' in 2006 that they began to perceive each other differently.

Their bond subsequently deepened during the shooting of 'Guru', a film they both hold dear. Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya at the New York premiere of 'Guru', culminating in their marriage on April 20, 2007. Reflecting on their journey together, Abhishek remarked that their marriage has been a dream and credited Aishwarya not only for being a supportive partner but also for raising their daughter, Aaradhya, with strong values.

In a light-hearted conversation about their marriage, Abhishek suggested that husbands should apologise to their wives each night to ensure harmony. He also discussed their parenting approach, highlighting their goal to set a positive example for their daughter.

On the professional front, Abhishek is set to appear in 'King', alongside prominent actors such as Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, is scheduled for release on December 24, 2023. Meanwhile, Aishwarya, who recently featured at the Cannes Film Festival, has not yet announced her upcoming projects but was last seen in 'Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2' earlier this year.
