The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is now available, starting at Rs 11.80 lakh, featuring upgraded design and advanced technology.

Honda has officially unveiled the 2026 facelift of its Elevate mid-size SUV, introducing a range of significant updates and features to attract consumers in a competitive market. Priced from ₹11.80 lakh (ex-showroom), the revamped model has garnered attention for its enhanced aesthetics and technological advancements while retaining the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.

New Design Elements

The exterior of the updated Elevate showcases a fresh design, primarily characterised by its redesigned front end. The SUV now features a new connected LED lighting setup, a modernised grille, and a revamped front bumper. The LED projector headlamps remain unchanged but are integrated with daytime running lights and turn indicators, enhancing visibility and style.

On the side, entry-level variants come equipped with 16-inch steel wheels, while the VX and higher trims receive 17-inch alloy wheels. The updates extend to a 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitor integrated into the exterior mirror, enhancing safety and convenience. At the rear, a connected LED taillight design is now a prominent feature, along with a discreet rear spoiler contributing to a sportier appearance.

Interior Upgrades

Entering the cabin, the Elevate facelift reveals a thoughtfully designed dashboard featuring a large infotainment touchscreen, accented with soft-touch materials and ambient lighting in higher variants. The interior layout adheres to Honda's reputation for spaciousness and practicality, offering good thigh support with comfortable seating.

The new model includes a standard 10.25-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with connected car technologies. It retains the semi-digital instrument cluster that maintains an analogue visual aesthetic. Comfort features such as an 8-speaker audio system, adjustable headrests, and automatic climate control continue to enhance the driving experience.

Innovative Features

Significantly, the Elevate facelift is distinguished by segment-first offerings, including rear ventilated seats and active keyless entry. It is equipped with Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automatic high beam assist, and automatic emergency braking.

Safety remains a top priority, with the model featuring six airbags, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors. An upgrade to the front parking sensors will provide added assistance during tight parking situations, enhancing vehicle safety.

Powertrain Specifications

The 2026 Honda Elevate retains its existing 1.5-litre petrol engine, producing 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque. This engine is available with both a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-step continuously variable transmission (CVT). Fuel efficiency is claimed at 15.31 kmpl for the manual and 16.61 kmpl for the automatic variant, as per Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) standards.

Competitiveness in the Market

With improvements made to essential features, the Elevate facelift aims to address gaps in its previous model that arose amid competition. Pricing ranges from ₹11.80 lakh to ₹18.40 lakh, making it a factor worth considering for buyers evaluating vehicles in the compact SUV segment. Notably, advancements in features such as ventilated seating and enhanced technology are primarily available in the higher variants, prompting consumers to consider their needs when selecting a model.

In summary, the latest iteration of the Honda Elevate combines updated design and essential features, positioning it strongly within the mid-size SUV category. The enhancements aim to better compete with rival offerings and remain relevant in a fast-evolving automotive landscape.
