2026 Honda Elevate Facelift Bookings Now Open in India
Honda India has commenced bookings for the facelifted Elevate SUV, set to launch on October 6, featuring design updates and new features.

Honda Cars India has officially opened bookings for the facelifted version of its popular Elevate SUV, requiring an initial deposit of ₹21,000 through authorised dealerships. The new model is scheduled to be unveiled on October 6, 2026, and follows a teaser release highlighting several key updates.

The facelift primarily focuses on cosmetic improvements. The teaser suggests a more aggressive front design, featuring a gloss-black honeycomb grille and a connected light bar, a departure from the previous model. The Honda logo has been repositioned, now appearing above the grille.

Though the existing bi-projector LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights will remain, other alterations are evident. The lower bumper design is anticipated to see minor updates, including a new silver skid plate.

At the rear, significant changes include a true LED connected taillamp setup, which currently appears as a dummy unit in the existing model. Inside, enhancements comprise ambient lighting and white leatherette upholstery that are presently available only as optional accessories. A redesigned central air conditioning vent is also visible in the teaser.

While precise details on additional features have not been disclosed, speculation suggests the inclusion of a refreshed 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, upgrade options like ventilated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Existing features, such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, and automatic climate control, are expected to continue.

In terms of safety, the Elevate facelift is likely to retain most of the existing features, adding front parking sensors to the current suite, which includes six airbags, an advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) package, and a 360-degree camera.

The powertrain is expected to remain consistent, featuring a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque, available with a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission. The fuel efficiency is claimed at 15.31 kmpl for the manual and 16.92 kmpl for the CVT variant.

Pricing for the facelift is projected to be in the range of ₹12 lakh to ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). The Honda Elevate faces fierce competition from other compact SUVs, including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Hyryder. Given the rising competition and slowing sales, the facelift is seen as a strategic move by Honda to rejuvenate interest in one of its key models.
