Poco announces the global launch of the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra on November 26, 2025, with anticipated specifications and features.

Poco, the smartphone brand known for its affordable yet high-performance devices, has confirmed that its new F8 series will be launched globally on November 26, 2025. The launch event is scheduled to take place in Bali, Indonesia, where the company will unveil the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra.

Initial reports suggest that the upcoming F8 models may be rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, which are exclusive to the Chinese market. This indicates that the new devices could share similar design elements and technical specifications with their predecessors.

The announcement was made via a post on the official Poco Global account on X, formerly known as Twitter. The launch event is set to begin at 4 p.m. local time, which corresponds to 1:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time.

While the F8 series is expected to include three models—the standard F8, F8 Pro, and F8 Ultra—only the Pro and Ultra variants will be revealed during the event.

As reported by several technology news outlets, including NDTV Profit, both devices are anticipated to feature Qualcomm’s top-tier processors. The Poco F8 Pro is likely to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the F8 Ultra may upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Both smartphones are expected to run on HyperOS 3, which is based on the latest version of Android.

Display specifications for the F8 series indicate that the Poco F8 Pro will feature a 6.59-inch OLED screen, while the F8 Ultra could sport a larger 6.9-inch display. Both devices are rumoured to offer a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz, enhancing the visual experience for users.

In terms of camera capabilities, the F8 Pro is expected to be equipped with a 50-megapixel main sensor that includes Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The F8 Ultra may elevate the optical performance further by featuring three 50-megapixel sensors. Both models are rumoured to include a front-facing camera with a resolution of 20 megapixels.

There are also indications that the F8 Ultra may include an additional rear speaker, enhancing the audio output. Furthermore, reports suggest that the F8 series may not come with an in-box charger, a shift from the previous model, the Poco F7 Pro, which included a 90-watt charger.

As the launch date approaches, excitement is building among smartphone enthusiasts, eager to see how the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra will perform in a competitive market for high-performance mobile devices.
