Israel Expands Offensive in Lebanon, Accusations of Collective Punishment

The Israeli military has intensified its operations in southern Lebanon, most notably seizing control of Beaufort Castle, a strategic site that overlooks the Litani valley. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the capture of the castle as a significant change in the ongoing military campaign against Hezbollah, stating, "We have broken the barrier of fear. We are taking the initiative, we are operating on all fronts - in Syria, in Gaza, in Lebanon."
