These include the Border Surveillance System (BOSS) & the Laser Fence System (LFS)

The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) will showcase a variety of 430 products at DefExpo 2022, which will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from October 18 to October 22, 2022. These products will include tactical and strategic weapon systems, defense tools, and technologies, according to information released by the Ministry of Defence on Friday.

The 3D (DRDO, Designed and Developed) ecosphere is the main focus of this year's DRDO participation, which will demonstrate its close ties to both industry and academia.

The Ministry stated that it will also highlight recent technological advances made by DRDO laboratories and partnerships with the private sector while demonstrating a high degree of indigenousness in cutting-edge and futuristic defense products and technologies that support "Aatmanirbharta in Defense."

“The 12th edition of Asia’s largest defence event will be highlighting the theme ‘Path to Pride’ aligned with ‘India at 75’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, encouraging the industry as well as the citizens to join in and contribute towards nation building. It aims to further the narrative of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’,” the ministry added.

In addition to the Border Surveillance System (BOSS), the Laser Fence System (LFS), the BrahMos Air Version Missile, the Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS), the Wheeled Armoured Platform (WhAP), the Prahar Missile, the Rudram III Missile, the Quick reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM), and the Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM), among other products, will be on display at the event.
