The meeting is taking place ahead of India-US two plus two Ministerial Dialogue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a virtual meeting with US President Joseph R. Biden tomorrow, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement on Sunday.

As per the PMO, during the meeting, which is taking place ahead of India-US two plus two Ministerial Dialogue in Washington DC, the two leaders will review ongoing bilateral cooperation and exchange views on recent developments in South Asia, the Indo-Pacific region and global issues of mutual interest.

The PMO said the virtual meeting will enable both sides to continue their regular and high-level engagement aimed at further strengthening the bilateral Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh along with External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar will participate in the 4th India-US two plus two Ministerial Dialogue on Monday in Washington DC.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defence Loyd Austin will represent the US and both sides will review bilateral cooperation across domains and chart the way forward for the two countries.
