The event will witness participation of top industry leaders and international organizations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the ‘State of the World’ special address at the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda on Monday evening.

He will address the gathering via video conferencing.

The virtual event, which will be held from January 17-21, will also be addressed by several other Heads of State, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said on Sunday.

These include Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio, President of the European Commission Ursua von der Leyen, Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison, President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett, and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

The event will also witness participation of top industry leaders, international organizations and civil society, who will deliberate on critical challenges being faced by the world today and discuss how to address them, the PMO said.
