We also recognize India’s efforts of meeting a global demand by sharing its vaccine supply with over 40 countries from around the world,” the statement maintained.

“We thank the efforts of the Trudeau-led Canadian government for their timely decision to secure Covid 19 vaccines from India. India has promised an immediate supply of 500,000 vaccines in this coming week followed by another supply of 2 million vaccine doses in the coming months. The action will save the lives of countless Canadians.

Today is a proud moment for Indo-Canadians who have made significant contributions to the Canadian society,” it added.
