Lahore declaration called for non-intervention and non-interference

The treaty was signed on February 21, 1999, at the conclusion of a historic summit in Lahore. Under the terms of the treaty, a mutual understanding was reached towards avoiding accidental and unauthorised operational use of nuclear weapons.
