The Government on Friday constituted an eight member committee to examine the various issues of subordinate staff of School Education Department (SED).

In this regard, an order was issued by the government to examine the issues wherein the committee was ordered to submit the report to competent authority within a period of one month.

According to the order, the committee was asked to look into removal of pay anomaly issues, restoration of non-vacation status in respect of Principals of Higher Secondary Schools SED, time bound promotion and Assured Career Progression (ACP) in respect of plus 2 lecturers of the SED.

The government also ordered the committee to look into issues like notion effects of the department, restoration of 40 percent quota in higher education department of plus 2 lecturers, placement of lecturers as senior lecturers, filling up of Joint Director Post from parental department and fair transfer policy.

According to order, the committee will be headed by Commissioner Secretary to government for SED who was designated as a chairman of the committee.
