Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be the Chief Guest at the Raisina Dialogue
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Wednesday inaugurate Raisina Dialogue, India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, scheduled to be held in New Delhi for three days, beginning from February 21, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Tuesday.

Committed to addressing the most challenging issues facing the international community, the 9th edition of the Raisina Dialogue will be joined by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as the Chief Guest who will deliver the keynote address.

The Dialogue is organised by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), a Delhi-based premier think tank.

More than 2500 participants, including ministers, former heads of state and heads of government, military commanders, captains of industry, technology leaders, academics, journalists, strategic affairs scholars and experts from leading think tanks, and youth from more than 100 countries will join the Dialogue in-person.

Besides, proceedings of the Dialogue will be viewed by millions across the world on various digital platforms, the MEA said.

The theme of the 2024 edition is “Chaturanga: Conflict, Contest, Cooperate, Create”. Over the course of three days, decision makers and thought leaders of the world will engage each other across conversations in various formats, over six thematic pillars: (i) Tech Frontiers: Regulations & Realities; (ii) Peace with the Planet: Invest & Innovate; (iii) War & Peace: Armouries & Asymmetries; (iv) Decolonising Multilateralism: Institutions & Inclusion; (v) The Post 2030 Agenda: People & Progress; and (vi) Defending Democracy: Society & Sovereignty.

In the past nine years, the Raisina Dialogue has consistently grown in stature and profile to establish itself as one of the leading global conferences on international affairs. The 8th edition of the Dialogue, held on March 2-4, 2023, was attended by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni as the Chief Guest.
